SLEEVELESS

I personally love a high, crew-neck tank, bodysuit or not. Pictured here are the Zara Halterneck Bodysuits in black, white, and beige pink. Spoiler: Every item on this page will be shown in white, black, and some variation of nude. Remember: "Neutrals! Neutrals! Neutrals!" The goal of my staple pieces is to have a base to start with. We'll play around with color, soon!

Before you keep scrolling, here are some general store ideas to shop my style:
・H&M
・ASOS
・Skims
・Zara
・Express
・Naked Wardobe
・JLUXLABEL

You can never go wrong with a basic tee. You can dress it up with slacks and accessories, or dress it down with jeans, leggings, or sneakers. Pictured here is the Skims Cotton Jersey T-Shirt in the colors soot, marble, and Sedona.

Note: I don't own these shirts by Skims. They are pictured for example purposes but I've heard good reviews!

LONG SLEEVE

Even if you live in a predominately hot climate like I do, (howdy to my fellow Texans), you absolutely need long sleeved shirts in your closet! Just as with short sleeves, you can dress them up or down, and they're great for layering in colder weather. Pictured here are the Skims Cotton Jersey Long Sleeve T-shirts in soot, bone, and Sedona.

*Once again these are pictured for example purposes only. Sometimes I can't find good photos online of what I personally own.

Whether you're a corporate professional or not, sometimes jeans just don't cut it. I say having at least one pair of khaki slacks and one pair of black slacks is perfect, but you could spice things up by purchasing different fits: wide-leg, slim-leg, flare-leg, or even skinny-leg. Pictured here are the JLUXLABEL Arlette Trousers in "Cappuccino" and "Black."

JEANS

These days everyone is into almost every style of jean there is, but my go to's are my light wash mom/skinny jeans and my black skinny jeans. You can choose between high and regular waists; I like both for different outfits. Pictured here from left to right are the Hollister Ultra High-Rise Light Wash Mom Jeans, H&M Skinny High Jeans in Light denim blue, and H&M True to You Skinny High Jeans in black.

Shoes can be a slippery slope when it comes to what's necessary and what's excessive. So, if I had to choose only one pair of shoes to call an absolute staple, it would be a classic pair of black, block heels. I must warn you, after a good 45 minutes your feet will hate you, but block heels are great in that they provide a more stable walking experience than a skinnier heel. You can rock these with jeans or slacks and still have a great outfit! You can find heels like this almost anywhere, but pictured here are the DREAM PAIRS Women's Hi-Chunk High Heel Pump Sandals (wow, what an obnoxiously long name lol).
