For a lot of people, becoming a physical therapist is the endgame. For me, it’s just the beginning. I want to one day use my position as a physical therapist to help not just my patients, but the next generation of hopeful clinicians. I especially want to help those who don’t have a cookie cutter journey to pursuing physical therapy, just like I don’t. That’s why I’ve documented my experience– so that I can not only give advice based on my journey to becoming a physical therapist, but also encourage you to find the joy in your own journey. Because it’s not just the destination that matters, it’s how you get there.
Hi! I’m Jazmine, and as I write this, I’m currently waiting to hear back from 4 Physical Therapy schools for the 2024-2025 application cycle. Did I get in? Did I not? It’s a pretty awkward time I’m in, but now that I’ve gone through all the phases of getting ready and applying, I’m here to share my experience in hopes of helping someone else. So, let’s go over some general stats on my application, shall we?
